Post subject:  LONG RANGE ANTENNA

Hi guys, new here. My prob is connecting my long range antenna to my just received Amped R20000G router. I have my Linksys WRT54G router hooked to it now, but when i removed antenna from new Amped, i noticed right off the bat, the male connectors for antenna, are at least half the size of my connection on my Linksys router/long range antenna male connector. My question is this: Will i have to send it back for refund, and buy another short lasting Linksys router, or is there some type of coupler i can buy, to connect existing female cable connector to my new Amped male connector?

PS: I've completely forgoten what those connectors are called :)

The antenna connectors on the R20000G are reverse SMA and the ones for your antenna are most likely N-type. You will have to use an SMA to N-type adapter in order to connect the antenna to the R20000G. Please remember to connect the antenna to the R20000G's primary antenna port which is port 2, the one next to the power adapter connection.

newbie here. I have the same question as above, I'd like to connect my external antenna to my RTA15, which antenna do I replace with cable from the external? the connector on my external is correct for plug in to the RTA15. thanks for the help. Antenna is only for 2.4G but that's fine.
